Abstract
An acetanilide plant with a capacity of 50,000 tons/year will be established in the Solo Industrial Estate on Jalan Beji Kulon, Kemiri, Kebakkramat District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. The plant will operate 24 hours a day, 330 days a year. The acetanilide plant uses aniline and acetyl oxide as raw materials, obtained from PT. Indo Acidatama Indonesia Tbk. Acetanilide is used as a raw material in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically for the production of analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). It also serves as an auxiliary material in the production of paint and rubber. The plant has several stages: raw material preparation, an acetylation reaction between the raw materials to form acetanilide, crystallization, and drying. Once dry crystals are obtained, the crystals are then reduced and standardized in size, until they are ready for packaging and marketing. The provisions for establishing the planned Acetanilide plant can be summarized as follows: Capacity: 50,000 Tons/Year Company Form: Limited Liability Company (PT) Organizational System: Line and Staff Factory Location: Solo Industrial Estate, Jalan Beji Kulon, Kemiri, Kebakkramat District, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. Operation System: Continuous Operating Hours: 330 Days/Year, 24 Hours/Day Number of Employees: 137 Economic Analysis: Construction Period: 2 Years Total Investment: Rp. 1,543,161,102,354 Payout Period: 3 Years Bank Interest: 9.9% Internal Rate of Return: 34.7% Rate on Investment: 39% Break Even Point: 35%
