Abstract

At present, information technology has become an essential part of everyday life. Technology enables people to accomplish their tasks more efficiently and effectively. With the advancement of information technology, people can save more time and engage in more productive activities. One of its applications is the use of the E-Archive website for incoming letters and invitation letters, which is designed to support archive management at the Product Quality Development and Creative Technology Unit of the East Java Department of Industry and Trade (DISPERINDAG). The E-Archive application aims to improve the security of archived documents. It is expected that the development of this application will simplify archive management and facilitate access to information regarding incoming letters and invitation letters. The E-Archive system was developed using the CodeIgniter framework for administrators at the Product Quality Development and Creative Technology Unit of the East Java Department of Industry and Trade (DISPERINDAG) to manage incoming letters and invitation letters digitally. In addition, the E-Archive website reduces the risk of document loss or damage. Therefore, the E-Archive website is considered capable of replacing the conventional archive management system with a more efficient and reliable digital solution.
