Abstract
The E-Canteen platform of UPN "Veteran" East Java is a web-based food and beverage ordering system developed by the Business Management Unit (BPU) as part of the university's campus service digitalization. The system was introduced to replace the conventional ordering process, which was prone to recording inaccuracies and delays in transaction reporting. Since the system was still under development and had not undergone structured software testing, the risk of undetected functional failures at an early stage became a primary concern. This study applies Black Box Testing within a Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) framework combined with Agile Scrum, enabling the testing process to be conducted iteratively across each sprint. Functional testing for three user roles buyer, seller, and Super Admin was carried out using Katalon Studio and Postman, while non-functional testing covering performance, usability, compatibility, and security aspects was conducted using Apache JMeter, Juicy Studio, Responsive Viewer, BrowserStack, and OWASP ZAP. Both functional and non-functional test scenarios were executed across five sprints. The results indicate that all core features operated in accordance with the defined specifications, identified bugs were successfully resolved, and the system demonstrated reliable performance, a user-friendly interface, cross-device compatibility, and no critical security vulnerabilities were found. The E-Canteen website is therefore declared to have met both functional and non-functional standards and is ready to be operated within the canteen environment of UPN "Veteran" East Java.
