Abstract
The Field Work Practice (internship) is an essential part of the learning process aimed at providing students with real-world work experience in an industrial environment. This internship was conducted at PT. Winnicode Garuda Teknologi, a company engaged in digital media publication and services. The company faced a problem in the absence of a dynamic and easily manageable news portal system, which created the need for a web-based system that facilitates efficient content management. In this Internship, the author designed and developed a web-based news portal using the Laravel framework version 12. The main features of the portal include category management, articles, authors, comments, news search, and user authentication. The development process involved needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and documentation. The result of this project is an online-accessible news portal system that simplifies content management for administrators. By implementing Laravel 12 and a Content Management System using Filament, the project becomes more modular, secure, and easier to develop further. It is expected that the outcomes of this Internship can contribute positively to the company and enhance the student's technical skills in web application development.
