Abstract
This study aims to examine the effects of Local Genuine Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Funds (DAU), and Special Allocation Funds (DAK) on the economic growth of regencies and cities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province. Employing a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis via SPSS version 28, this research applies a total sampling technique (saturated sampling), yielding 50 firm-year observations across 5 regencies/cities over the 2015–2024 period. The results of the hypothesis testing (t-test) indicate that partially, the PAD, DAU, and DAK variables each exert a positive and significant effect on regional economic growth. Simultaneously, the model is deemed robust and capable of explaining 45.2% of the variation in economic growth within the DIY Province, while the remaining 54.8% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this model. Based on these findings, local governments are advised to continuously optimize the mobilization of local revenue potentials and enhance the allocation efficiency of transfer funds to maintain stability, fiscal independence, and sustainable macroeconomic development.
