Abstract
Robusta coffee is one of the leading plantation commodities that plays an important role in the economy of Pasuruan Regency. The substantial production potential of robusta coffee needs to be supported by efficient utilization of domestic resources to enhance farm competitiveness. This study aimed to identify the utilization of domestic resources and analyze the comparative and competitive advantages of robusta coffee farming in Pasuruan Regency. The research was conducted in Puspo and Tutur Districts, Pasuruan Regency. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling, involving 61 robusta coffee farmers. The study employed primary data collected through direct interviews using questionnaires and secondary data obtained from relevant institutions. Data were analyzed descriptively and using the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) method. The results showed that the domestic resources utilized in robusta coffee farming include land, labor, capital, and production inputs, most of which originate from domestic sources. The Private Cost Ratio (PCR) value of 0.052 (<1) indicates that robusta coffee farming possesses a competitive advantage and is capable of competing under prevailing market prices. The Domestic Resource Cost Ratio (DRC) value of 0,050 (<1) indicates that robusta coffee farming has a comparative advantage and efficiently utilizes domestic resources. Therefore, robusta coffee farming in Pasuruan Regency has strong competitiveness and deserves further development both competitively and comparatively.
