Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competencies, work environment, and organizational commitment on the performance of production department employees at UD. Ishlah Mandiri Makmur. The background of this study indicates that there are issues related to employee performance that has not been optimized, as evidenced by the company’s failure to meet its production targets. This study employs a quantitative approach with data collection conducted via a questionnaire. The population in this study consists of 195 production employees, while the sample of 66 was determined using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data analysis involves several stages, namely the outer model test (validity and reliability test), the inner model test (R-Square), and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and organizational commitment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
