Abstract
Regional Original Revenue (PAD) is one of the indicators used to measure a region's financial capacity in financing government administration and regional development independently. The tourism sector is considered to have strategic potential in increasing Regional Original Revenue through various economic activities generated by tourism, such as accommodation, culinary services, and tourist destinations. Tuban Regency has considerable tourism potential that is expected to contribute to the increase of Regional Original Revenue. This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of tourists, the number of hotels, the number of tourist attractions, and the number of restaurants on Regional Original Revenue in Tuban Regency during the 2015–2024 period. This study employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Tuban Regency for the 2015–2024 period. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. The results showed that the number of tourist attractions has a significant effect on Regional Original Revenue in Tuban Regency, while the number of tourists, the number of hotels, and the number of restaurants do not have a significant effect on Regional Original Revenue. These findings indicate that the development and management of tourist attractions play a more dominant role in increasing regional revenue than other tourism indicators. Therefore, the local government is expected to improve the quality and management of tourist attractions, strengthen tourism promotion, and optimize supporting sectors such as hotels and restaurants to increase their contribution to Regional Original Revenue and support regional economic development.
