Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effects of economic growth, income inequality, and the open unemployment rate on the poverty rate in East Java Province during the 2015–2024 period. The study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear time-series regression. The model was estimated using Eviews 12. The results indicate that Economic Growth does not have a significant effect on the Poverty Rate, Income Inequality has a significant positive effect on the Poverty Rate, and the Open Unemployment Rate does not have a significant effect on the Poverty Rate in East Java Province. Therefore, poverty can be reduced through policies designed to promote labor-intensive sectors and strengthen SMEs, ensure equitable distribution, improve human resource quality, and expand economic access for the poor, as well as the creation of decent formal jobs and the enhancement of workforce skills.
