Abstract

Policy uncertainty, the weakening of the rupiah, inflation, and geopolitical and domestic political risks are increasing market pressure. This is exacerbated by foreign capital outflows and investors’ cautious stance toward the economic outlook and the performance of cyclical sectors. These conditions have led to a decline in the stock prices of companies in the LQ45 index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study was conducted to analyze the effects of liquidity, profitability, and inflation on stock prices, as well as the moderating role of dividend policy in the effects of liquidity, profitability, and inflation on stock prices for companies in the LQ45 index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2024. The sample for this study consisted of 19 companies selected using purposive sampling. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of companies’ annual financial reports and inflation data, analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that liquidity contributes to stock prices, while profitability and inflation do not contribute to stock prices. Dividend policy is able to strengthen the relationship between liquidity and stock prices, and dividend policy is not able to moderate the relationship between profitability or inflation and stock prices.
