Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of FinTech Adoption and Financial Fraud on corporate performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Corporate performance is proxied by the Price to Book Value (PBV) ratio, while FinTech Adoption is measured by the ratio of information technology expenses to operating expenses, and Financial Fraud is proxied using the F-Score model. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports and financial statements during the observation period. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in banking companies that met the research criteria. Panel data regression analysis was conducted using EViews 12. The findings indicate that FinTech Adoption has no significant effect on corporate performance. This suggests that digital technology investment alone is insufficient to improve market valuation because investors tend to emphasize tangible outcomes reflected in profitability and operational efficiency. Furthermore, Financial Fraud also has no significant effect on corporate performance, indicating that fraud risk information is not the primary consideration for investors in evaluating banking companies. Overall, corporate performance in the banking sector is more strongly influenced by fundamental financial factors than by the level of FinTech Adoption or Financial Fraud risk.
