Abstract
The suboptimal adoption of agricultural technology by farmers has become one of the factors hindering productivity improvement in Indonesia's agricultural sector. Although agricultural technology is already available, farmers' intention to accept and use it remains varied and is influenced by numerous factors. This study aims to analyze rice farmers' perceptions of agricultural technology acceptance and use, as well as to identify the factors influencing it in Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency. Sampling was conducted using proportional random sampling method with 81 farmers as respondents who are members of farmer groups and have adopted agricultural technology in their rice farming activities. The analytical methods used were quantitative descriptive analysis with a Likert scale and PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 4 software. The descriptive analysis results indicate that farmers' perceptions of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions were in the high category, while perceptions of social influence were in the moderate category. Meanwhile, rice farmers' intention to accept and use agricultural technology was in the very high category. The PLS-SEM analysis results show that the four independent variables were able to explain 77.9% of the variation in farmers' intention to accept and use agricultural technology. Hypothesis testing results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions significantly influence farmers' intention to accept and use agricultural technology. Meanwhile, social influence does not significantly influence behavioral itention.
