Abstract
Differences in facilities received by partnered and non-partnered coconut sugar artisans result in differences in income. The various benefits of partnership do not necessarily make artisans join the partnership. The purpose of this study is to analyze partnership patterns, income differences between partnered and non-partnered coconut sugar artisans with ISM Manggarsari in Mantren Village, Kebonagung District, Pacitan Regency and analyze the factors that influence artisans' decisions to partner. The sample in the study was 60 coconut sugar artisans selected by simple random sampling. Primary data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, income analysis and independent sample t-test and binary logistic regression analysis with SPSS. The results of the analysis obtained that the established partnership pattern is a general trading partnership pattern. The income of partnered artisans is higher (Rp841.065/month) compared to artisans without partners (Rp64.810/month). The t-test (Sig. 0.014 < 0.05) proves that the income of the two groups of artisans is significantly different. Factors influencing artisans' decisions to partner are age (Sig. 0.002) and experience (Sig. 0.001). It is recommended that artisans not only enter into partnerships to increase income, but also to gain market access and innovative derivative products to achieve sustainable profitability. Keywords: Coconut Sugar Artisans, Partnership, Income, t-test, Binary Logistic Regression
