Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of macroeconomic variables consisting of Inflation, Interest Rates (BI-Rate), Rupiah Exchange Rate, and Gold Prices on the Growth of Credit Distribution at PT Makmur Bersama Gadai Probolinggo Branch for the 2020-2025 period. The phenomenon of sharp fluctuations in credit distribution is the main background for the urgency of this research. The research method used is quantitative associative with the Saturated Sampling technique, resulting in 72 monthly observation points. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with Cochrane-Orcutt transformation to overcome autocorrelation disturbances. Simultaneous research results show that Inflation, Interest Rates, Exchange Rates, and Gold Prices significantly influence credit distribution (Sig. 0.001). Partially, Gold Prices have a significant positive effect (Sig. 0.016), while Interest Rates have a significant negative effect (Sig. 0.003). However, the Inflation and Exchange Rate variables do not show a significant influence on credit growth. The Adjusted RSquare value of 18.8% indicates that other micro factors are more dominant in influencing customer decisions. Management is advised to optimize the momentum of rising gold prices and implement competitive pricing strategies when market interest rates increase. Keywords: Inflation, Interest Rates, Exchange Rate, Gold Price, Credit Distribution.
