Abstract

Transaction recording and inventory management among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the automotive sector, are still predominantly carried out manually, leading to issues such as recording errors, difficulties in data retrieval, and delays in report generation. This condition is also observed at Any Jaya Workshop, which still relies on paper-based receipts without a structured recording system. This study aims to design and develop a transaction recording website using the prototype method to support more organized and centralized data management. The method is implemented through the stages of Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, and iterative evaluation conducted three times until a system that meets user requirements is achieved, followed by Deployment, Delivery, and Feedback. The result of this study is a web-based transaction recording system featuring transaction data management, spare parts inventory management, and integrated daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Based on testing results, all system functions operate properly as verified through Black Box Testing. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) indicates a user acceptance rate of 84.29%, which falls into the “very good” category.
