Abstract
The Wavecoach application was developed to address operational challenges at Fun Swimming Academy (FSA), which previously relied on manual processes and fragmented records. The primary focus of this development was Quality Assurance (QA), implemented through both manual and automated testing approaches to ensure that every feature of the application functions optimally. Manual testing was conducted to verify functionality from the end-user’s perspective, ensuring that each interaction aligns with the defined requirements and use-case scenarios. Meanwhile, automated testing using Katalon Studio was applied to critical functional and API testing in order to enhance QA efficiency and accelerate the detection of bugs or errors. Testing was conducted across both web and mobile platforms, with emphasis on feature stability, component integration, and application responsiveness. The test results indicated that Wavecoach met the established quality standards, offering a stable, accurate, and responsive functionality. The application effectively supports training schedule management, athlete attendance tracking, equipment inventory management, and digital performance reporting in an integrated manner. With the successful implementation of Wavecoach, FSA now benefits from improved operational efficiency, reduced administrative workload, and the creation of a more modern, structured, and effective working environment.
