Abstract

J&T Express is an expedition service provider company that has only emerged for the past three years. But with a fairly short duration, J&T Express has been very well known by consumers and can be accepted by the public quite well. The population of this study is consumers who have used J&T Express expedition services. This study used a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling technique. The classification of respondent's characters is like gender, age, package type and package purpose. In this study using latent variables and manifest variables that have been in the matrix. The analysis technique used is exploratory factor analysis technique. In calculating the final result of factor analysis by entering the manifest variable and producing a fixed variable, namely service quality, price according to quality, easy to find place, free shipping, employee politeness, cleanliness, offering package pick-up services, affordable prices, affordable place, employee readiness, timely, strategic delivery process, easy to remember, advertisements on social media, comfortable service space, consumer hotline services, price discounts / promos, employee appearance, facilities, quick claims process, clear distribution process, and logo. It was found that the value of KMO and Measure of Sampling Adequency (MSA) had met the requirements. Based on factor analysis using rotation (varimax) obtained five new forming factors.
