Abstract

The development of marine tourism destinations requires a comprehensive analysis of the main components that shape the destination. This study aims to analyze the marine tourism destination of Gili Noko Beach in Gresik Regency using the 4A concept: Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, and Ancillary Service. The analysis focuses on the potential and constraints inherent in each component in supporting the development of competitive and sustainable marine tourism. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method as proposed by Sugiyono (Angelina, 2020), which aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the destination's conditions, tourist experiences, and the socio-cultural context of the local community. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions (Sugiyono, 2019). The results show that Gili Noko Beach has a strong marine tourism appeal in the form of natural beach beauty, white sand, and clear sea waters. Accessibility to the tourist location is still quite challenging because it is located in an archipelago, but it provides a unique marine tourism experience. The amenity component indicates the availability of adequate basic facilities, although accommodation, dining options, and tourist information centers are still limited. Meanwhile, ancillary services have involved the local community and received support from the village government, but have not been optimally managed. Based on these findings, it is recommended to develop potential tourist attractions through coastal environmental conservation, improving the quality and variety of marine tourism activities, improving access and travel information, providing environmentally friendly amenities, and strengthening local community institutions and capacities. The integration of the four 4A components is expected to increase the competitiveness of Gili Noko Beach as a sustainable marine tourism destination.
