Abstract

Based on Law No. 4 of 2023 concerning the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector, banks act as financial institutions that collect and redistribute funds through credit to improve public welfare. As agents of trust and development, banks provide credit, manage deposits, and facilitate payments. Credit implementation requires adherence to internal standards such as the 5Cs and 7Ps to ensure customer reliability. However, non-performing loans (NPLs) remain a challenge. This study outlines BRI Ngoro Unit's preventative and remedial measures, including credit analysis, collateral enforcement, and loan relief policies, which reflect its commitment to legal compliance and financial stability.
