Abstract
This internship report discusses the experience and outcomes of the MBKM internship program conducted on the Probolinggo–Banyuwangi Toll Road Construction Project Package 3, managed by PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. The internship aimed to provide students with practical understanding of toll road construction project management, covering aspects such as administration, project organization, heavy equipment management, and on-site construction techniques. The report reviews the project’s organizational structure, contract administration, heavy equipment productivity calculations, as well as the implementation of legal, labor, and occupational health and safety (OHS) aspects in the field. It also covers ground improvement technologies, environmental management techniques, foundation construction methods, and the construction of long-span bridge structures. Through this internship, students gained direct experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, understood both technical and non-technical challenges on-site, and were able to comprehensively apply civil engineering knowledge in real-world professional settings. This report is expected to serve as a reference and learning resource for students and relevant stakeholders in the implementation of toll road construction projects in Indonesia.
