Abstract

Strawberries have strong potential to be developed as a leading horticultural commodity, particularly in Pandanrejo Village, where most residents are strawberry farmers supported by a village-owned enterprise (Lumbung Stroberi). Strawberry production in Batu City during 2020–2024 fluctuated due to various farming risks, including weather conditions, pest and disease attacks, financial constraints, human resource limitations, institutional issues, and market risks. This study aims to identify sources of risk using a fishbone diagram, analyze risk levels using the Analytical Network Process (ANP), and formulate risk mitigation strategies. The results indicate five main risk sources: production, market, financial, human resource, and institutional risks. Production risk is the most dominant (47.42%), followed by financial risk (23.55%), representing the highest risks in strawberry farming at Lumbung Stroberi Pandanrejo. These findings are expected to support better planning, reduce potential losses, and improve the sustainability of strawberry farming. Keywords: Farming, Risk, Strawberry
