Abstract

Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is an important horticultural crop with high economic potential. Improving its growth and yield requires appropriate nutrient management. Methodology: This study evaluated the effects of cow manure and NPK 16-16-16, applied singly and in combination, on the growth and yield of purple eggplant. The experiment was conducted using a factorial completely randomized design with cow manure and NPK 16-16-16 as treatment factors. Growth and yield parameters were observed during vegetative and generative phases. The results showed that the interaction between cow manure and NPK 16 16-16 did not significantly affect all observed parameters. Single-factor application of cow manure or NPK 16-16-16 also showed no significant effect on most growth and yield variables. The combined application of cow manure and NPK 16-16-16 did not provide a significant interaction effect on purple eggplant growth and production under the conditions of this study.
