Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN), the number of industrial sectors, and the population on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Sidoarjo Regency for the period 2010-2023. A quantitative approach using multiple linear regression was used to examine the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The results indicate that PMDN, the number of industrial sectors, and the population simultaneously have a significant positive effect on GRDP in Sidoarjo Regency. However, only the number of industrial sectors and the population have a significant positive effect, while PMDN has no significant effect on GRDP. This study recommends increasing the efficiency of investment implementation and providing policy support to optimize investment's contribution to economic growth. The contribution of the industrial sector and proper management of human resources are also key to sustainable economic development in Sidoarjo Regency.
