Abstract
The education sector is a fundamental of a country that must be paid attention to, especially elementary school education in Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province, where there is a main problem, namely, the condition of the majority of the number of teachers is not balanced compared to the number of students they teach, as well as the condition of the number of students who do not meet the standard ceiling for one class in several other schools. Therefore, the Probolinggo Regency Education and Culture Office seeks a solution to this problem by adopting the Multigrade Teaching Program, which is a partnership program between the Indonesian government and Australia in the field of education. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the Multigrade Teaching Program. The research method used is purposive sampling with the Probolinggo Regency Education and Culture Office as the implementing agency and also involving the principal and the community as parents. Research reveals that the implementation of the Multigrade Teaching Program has had a significant impact on improving the quality of education at the elementary school level, starting in 2018. This learning model continues to be expanded to other schools to create enjoyable learning experiences for elementary school students in Probolinggo Regency.
