Abstract

This study aims to examine, analyze, determine, and prove the influence of mental accounting, financial literacy, and risk perception on investment decisions. This study employed a quantitative approach. The population was active undergraduate accounting students at the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jawa Timur, with a sample size of 92 respondents. The sample was calculated using a probability sampling technique with the Slovin formula. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires, and testing was conducted using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis using SmartPLS software version 4.0, which consisted of outer model testing, inner model testing, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that mental accounting has no positive effect on investment decisions, financial literacy has a positive effect on investment decisions, and risk perception has a positive effect on investment decisions.
