Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in face-to-face learning plans being threatened with cancellation. The full face-to-face learning process turns into distance learning. The government is expected to be able to always provide the fulfillment of the right to basic education. This is based on the fact that children are the next generation of the nation, so that every child has the right to obtain the fulfillment of a proper education. This study aims to determine the implementation of the fulfillment of children's rights to basic education during the Covid-19 pandemic and the obstacles that arise in its implementation. This study uses empirical juridical methods with field data research techniques. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of the fulfillment of children's rights to basic education has been carried out properly in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. The obstacles that hinder are related to the readiness of online-based learning methods and facilities. In supporting the teaching and learning process, the government has provided internet data quota packages. However, there is still inequality in the internet data quota assistance, especially for students at the basic education level. Keywords—Children's Rights, Basic Education, Covid-19 Pandemic
