Abstract
This study examines the resolution of online Hong Kong-style illegal lottery (Toto Gelap) gambling cases within the jurisdiction of the Jombang District Attorney's Office. The background of the study is based on the increase in online gambling cases in Jombang, from zero in 2023 to four cases in 2024. The results of the discussion indicate that case resolution procedures are implemented based on the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) mechanism, starting from investigation, inquiry, and prosecution in court. Obstacles encountered include network factors, selection of indictment articles, and evidence constraints. The study's conclusion emphasizes the need for preventive measures through legal counseling and repressive measures in the form of criminal sanctions.
