Abstract
Organizational governance is very important for an organization in achieving the organization's goals. Today, it is not only government and corporate practitioners who apply the principles of good governance, but non-profit organizations are also required to become professional organizations by applying the principles of good governance. This study aims to analyze the principles of good governance applied at the YPI Darussalam Foundation. This type of research is a qualitative research. This study applies a snowball sampling strategy. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers include observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature review. Based on the results of research, analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the YPI Darussalam Foundation is an educational foundation that has succeeded in developing an organization so that it can develop quickly and gain the trust of the wider community because its organizational governance applies the principles of good governance. This is based on the results of the analysis which shows that in the governance of the YPI Darussalam foundation all the principles of good governance have been identified. Thus, the principles of good governance such as the principles of transparency, accountability, rule of law, strategic vision, professionalism, responsibility, efficiency and effectiveness when applied to non-profit organizations will have a positive impact that encourages organizational progress and can increase organizational trust in the community.
