Abstract

In general, agriculture develops in rural areas with low and ownership intensity. The demand for urban land use that continues to grow and is accelerating for the contruction of various facilities, technological advences, industry and transportation also causes the reduction of agriculture land. This is also has an impact on the lack of food availability. The agricultural development movement in urban areas has a positive impact on growing community independence. Physically, agriculture in urban areas needs to be improved because it can provide great contributions and benefits in providing open green space. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the efficiency and effectiviness of urban farming on farmers economic income the sample of this study used a purposive sampling technique with is respandents. This study uses multiple linear analysis methods and MRA with the help of SPSS version 25. The effect of efficiency and effectiveness on income, it can be seen from the respondents answer through questionnaires. The majority of farmer hroups answerd agree that efficiency which include cost, time, and energy is needed in a farmer group program. Effectiveness is also very necessary to find out how far the program is running.
