Abstract
The Internship Program (Kuliah Kerja Profesi/KKP) was carried out at BTKD Balas Klumprik, Surabaya, focusing on the cultivation of eggplant (Solanum melongena). This activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and practical skills in agricultural technology, particularly in the management of horticultural crops. The methods implemented included nursery preparation, land management, planting, maintenance, pest and disease control, harvesting, and post-harvest handling. The results showed that structured cultivation techniques contributed to optimal plant growth and productivity. Through this program, students gained valuable experience in applying theoretical knowledge into practice and developed competencies in sustainable crop cultivation. Overall, the internship activity provided significant insights into eggplant cultivation practices and their potential contribution to agricultural development.
