Abstract

Saving is a vital part of maintaining financial stability, especially for private sector employees who face higher financial uncertainty compared to public sector workers. Fluctuating economic conditions, consumer pressures, and limited access to financial services are challenges that influence the saving habits of people, including those in Jombang Regency. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the factors that affect saving behavior to encourage wiser financial practices. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial inclusion, lifestyle, and financial planning on the saving behavior of private sector employees in Jombang Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS version 3 software. The results show that financial inclusion, lifestyle, and financial planning have a positive effect on the saving behavior of private sector employees in Jombang Regency.
