Abstract
This study analyzes the influence of tourist numbers, tourist attractions, labor force participation rate (LFPR), and the number of restaurants on Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta before and after the operation of Yogyakarta International Airport in 2019. The method used is panel data regression on five districts/cities during the 2013–2024 period, using the EViews 12 statistical tool. The results show that the number of tourists has a positive and significant effect on PAD in both periods, although the effect decreases after the airport began operating. Tourist attractions became significantly and positively influential after the airport’s establishment. Conversely, LFPR and the number of restaurants did not significantly affect PAD in either period. The findings also indicate a shift in local revenue sources from tourism to other sectors such as logistics after the airport's operation.
