Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Local Revenue, Inflation, and Poverty Rate on Economic Growth in Banten Province during the period 2009–2022. Banten Province, as a strategically located region with high economic potential, continues to face structural challenges such as disparities in the allocation of Local Government Revenue, inflationary pressures, and poverty rates that have not been adequately addressed. A quantitative approach was employed in this study, utilizing multiple linear regression analysis to test the influence of the three independent variables on economic growth as the dependent variable. The results indicate that Local Government Revenue has a significant negative impact on economic growth, suggesting that increased Local Government Revenue does not always have a positive effect if its allocation is inefficient. Inflation has a significant positive impact, indicating that controlled mild inflation can stimulate economic activity. Meanwhile, the poverty rate does not have a significant impact on economic growth, as growth has not been evenly distributed and is primarily enjoyed by the middle-to-upper economic class. These findings emphasize the importance of efficient budget management, price stability, and equitable distribution of development outcomes in driving regional economic growth.
