Abstract

Cauliflower cultivation is generally carried out in mountainous areas, but with advances in science and technology in the field of agriculture, cauliflower plants can form flowers in lowland areas depending on the variety used. Although it can be grown in lowland areas, cauliflower plants require the right growing environment to meet their growth needs. Environmental conditions that do not meet growth requirements can hinder the flowering process. Therefore, to support growth and development, nutrients in the form of fertilizer are applied, which are absorbed by the plants. In addition to nutrients, cauliflower plants also require growth regulators. The application of gibberellin and NPK fertilizer is used to enhance the growth and yield of cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. Botrytis L.) in lowland areas. This study was designed using a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor gibberellin concentration, consisted of four levels: G₀ (concentration 0 ppm), G₁ (concentration 100 ppm), G₂ (concentration 150 ppm), and G₃ (concentration 200 ppm). The second factor, the dosage of NPK fertilizer, consisted of three levels: P₀ (dosage 0 kg/ha), P₁ (dosage 150 kg/ha), and P₂ (dosage 300 kg/ha). The results of the study showed a significant interaction between the combination of gibberellin concentration 200 ppm and NPK fertilizer 300 kg/ha on the parameters of plant height, flower weight, and total weight.
