Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a high susceptibility to natural disasters, including landslides. The slope area of Mount Ceremai in Randobawa Girang Village, Cilimus District, Kuningan Regency, is one of the regions with a high risk of landslides. This study aims to map landslide-prone areas using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach, incorporating rainfall data, slope gradient, soil erodibility, geological structure, and land cover. The method used is spatial analysis with a risk assessment model developed by the Directorate of Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation (DVMBG) in 2004, with several modifications. The results show that areas with high landslide risk are located in points H2 (55.05 ha), H3 (54.68 ha), and H4 (24.17 ha), while areas with moderate risk are found in points S1 (10.7 ha), S2 (37.41 ha), S3 (79.02 ha), and H1 (81.86 ha). This analysis highlights the importance of landslide risk mapping for disaster mitigation decision-making.
