Abstract

The furniture industry is characterized by complex production processes and a high dependence on raw material supplies, which are vulnerable to risks. PT Romi Violeta, a furniture manufacturing company based on wood and other composite materials in Sidoarjo, faces various challenges in its supply chain, such as delayed raw material deliveries and material mismatches. This study aims to identify the causes of supply chain risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies using the House of Risk (HOR) method. The HOR method is used in two stages: HOR 1 to calculate the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value to determine the priority of risk agents, and HOR 2 to develop mitigation strategies, taking into account their effectiveness and level of implementation difficulty. The results indicate that there are 11 priority risk agents that contribute most to the occurrence of risks in the supply chain, particularly in the table production process. The proposed mitigation strategies include improving communication with suppliers, diversifying suppliers, implementing raw material inspection standards, and developing quality control standard operating procedures (SOPs). Implementation of these strategies is expected to reduce production failure rates, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen the company's supply chain resilience to disruptions.
