Abstract

The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) is a strategic effort to optimize home garden use for family food sources and strengthen food security through community empowerment. This study aims to assess the role of KWT members in Candi Subdistrict, evaluate the program’s effectiveness, and identify related influencing factors. Using a quantitative descriptive method, data were collected from 55 members of the Rukun Makmur and Tani Segar KWT through Likert-scale questionnaires, then analyzed with descriptive statistics and Spearman rank correlation. Results show that KWT in Candi play a crucial role in supporting P2L. The program is considered highly effective in targeting, socialization, and monitoring, though its objectives are only moderately achieved. Member participation significantly correlates with program effectiveness, while resource availability and motivation do not.
