Abstract

Abstract Haiti is a country located in the Caribbean region, west of the island of Hispaniola which is shared with the Dominican Republic, Capital Port-au-Prince. Haiti is a country vulnerable to various crises, including natural disasters and political instability, thus exacerbating malnutrition rates, especially among children. Recognizing this humanitarian crisis, UNICEF seeks to provide assistance through the Humanitarian Action Chilldren (HAC) program which will be implemented from 2021-2024 using the Triple Nexus Approach. This research aims to describe the use of the Triple Nexus Approach through efforts in the HAC program and explain its relationship and contribution to the humanitarian problems that plagued Haiti. The theory used by the author is the Triple Nexus Approach. This research uses Descriptive Qualitative method and secondary data sources in the form of Humanitarian Action Chilldren Report 2021-2024, final Report, and UNICEF Haiti Report. In its implementation, the Triple Nexus Approach is used through the Humanitarian-Development Nexus, Development-Peace Nexus, and Humanitarian-Peace Nexus which are reflected in the components contained in the HAC program to overcome the humanitarian crisis and malnutrition as a result of the natural disaster and political crisis in Haiti. Keywords: Triple Nexus, Humanitarian Action Children (HAC), Malnutrition, Haiti
