Abstract
This research is conducted to test and prove the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and economic vulnerability on the financial behavior of farmers. To explain the relationship among the variables studied, this research uses a quantitative and descriptive approach. One hundred farmers are involved in the sample. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, and the obtained data is processed using Smart PLS 4.0. This study involves farmer subjects, whereas most previous studies chose student subjects or urban residents. This research is conducted to test and prove the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and economic vulnerability on the financial behavior of farmers. To explain the relationship among the variables studied, this research uses a quantitative and descriptive approach. One hundred farmers are involved in the sample. The data collection is done by distributing a questionnaire, and the obtained data is processed using Smart PLS 4.0. This research involves farmers as the subjects, while the majority of previous studies chose students, urban residents, or MSMEs as their objects. In fact, according to the 2023 census data, most of Indonesia's population works as farmers. In addition, the researcher also combines several variables in the form of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and economic vulnerability to measure their financial behavior.Hypothesis testing shows that the three independent variables used have a significant influence on farmers' financial behavior. This explains that financial literacy and financial inclusion have a close relationship in how someone manages and organizes their finances. Additionally, economic vulnerability makes a person more cautious in managing finances. This research provides important implications regarding the development of financial literacy and financial inclusion programs and how to address existing economic vulnerabilities to make wise financial management decisions.
