Abstract

The food crisis that has long plagued Ethiopia has attracted international attention, including that of the World Food Programme (WFP). This study analyzes the World Food Programme's (WFP) food aid program in addressing the food crisis in Ethiopia from 2020 to 2024. The study aims to analyze the food assistance programs provided to understand how the WFP has implemented its assistance in addressing the food crisis in Ethiopia. In conducting the analysis, the author employs a qualitative method, gathering data from books, journals, and online news sources. The theoretical framework used in this study is the Triple Nexus Approach with the concept of food crises. The results of the study indicate that approaches such as humanitarian-peace, development-peace, and humanitarian-development have been realized in the food assistance program to address the food crisis in Ethiopia.
