Abstract

The high consumption lifestyle is one of the causes of the low level of investment, especially among students. This study aims to analyze the relationship between lifestyle, financial technology, and financial literacy on investment decisions. This research uses a quantitative method with a total of 102 respondents, who are students participating in the Capital Market School. Data analysis is conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that lifestyle has a significant negative effect on investment decisions, while financial technology has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. Financial literacy does not moderate the relationship between lifestyle and investment decisions; instead, financial literacy weakens the effect of financial technology on investment decisions. This finding emphasizes the importance of lifestyle management and the optimization of financial technology use in enhancing students' investment decisions.
