Abstract
PT Petrokimia Gresik adalah perusahaan pupuk terlengkap di Indonesia yang memproduksi berbagai macam pupuk, seperti: Urea, ZA, SP-36, NPK Phonska, DAP, NPK Kebomas, ZK dan pupuk organik yaitu Petroganik. PT Petrokimia Gresik juga telah memproduksi produk non pupuk seperti AsamSulfat, Asamfosfat, Amoniak, DryIce, AluminumFluoride, Cement Retarder, dll. Produk untuk probiotik dar hewan ternak juga diproduksi di PT. Petrokimia Gresik seperti Petro chick, Petro fish, dan Petro gladiator serta produk benih tanaman seperti Petrochili, Hi-corn, seed dan Hibrid. Pada awalnya PT. Petrokimia Gresik didirikan dengan nama “Proyek Petrokimia Surabaya” pada tahun 1960. Perjanjian konstruksi ditandatangani bersama pada tanggal 10 Agustus 1964 dan berlaku efektif pada tanggal 8 Desember 1964. Proyek ini diresmikan oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia pada tanggal 10 Juli 1972. Oleh karena itu tanggal tersebut akhirnya diperingati sebagai hari jadi PT. Petrokimia Gresik.
