Abstract

Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis L.) is a vegetable with high economic value, but its productivity in lowlands is often hampered by environmental conditions and nutrient imbalances, especially macronutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) which are the main components in NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of paclobutrazol concentration and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer dosage on cauliflower growth and yield. The study was conducted in Sawotratap Village, Sidoarjo, using a Split Plot Design with two factors: paclobutrazol (0, 150, 200, and 250 ppm) and NPK fertilizer (250, 300, and 350 kg/ha). The results showed that the combination of paclobutrazol 200 ppm and NPK 300 kg/ha gave the best results in flower weight. Paclobutrazol 250 ppm increased flower diameter and chlorophyll content, while NPK 350 kg/ha produced the highest flower weight. The use of paclobutrazol and NPK fertilizers appropriately can increase cauliflower yields in lowlands. Keywords: ZPT; Lowland; Chlorophyll; Productivity
