Abstract

PT Berkah Anugerah Inti Semesta is a company engaged in fabrication, including the production of palm shell conveyors. Production delays represent a major challenge that can affect operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the causes of delays in the conveyor production process using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method. FTA is considered an appropriate method to identify the root causes of delays and determine the best possible solutions. The analysis was carried out during the production process at the workshop area of PT Berkah Anugerah Inti Semesta. The results indicate that the production time, which was initially planned for three weeks, extended to one month. This delay was mainly caused by inefficiencies in the fit-up, full weld, visual cleaning, and machining processes. By implementing the recommendations derived from this analysis, it is expected that the level of delay in the production process at PT Berkah Anugrah Inti Semesta can be reduced.
