Abstract

Pile driving is a crucial stage in deep foundation work in construction projects. One of the commonly used tools is HSPD (Hydraulic Static Pile Driver), which is known to be able to minimize vibration and noise, and provide efficiency in implementation. This research aims to analyze the comparison between piling productivity based on field observations and theoretical productivity calculated from tool specifications, as well as to examine the implementation method of piling using HSPD. The research method used is quantitative approach with primary data collection through direct observation for five days at the Shophouse construction project in Lingkar Timur, Sidoarjo. Secondary data included tool specifications and piling point plans. The piling implementation method involves the stages of setting out the pile point, lifting the pile, clamping the pile, injecting the pile, welding the pile, and pressing with the pile. The results showed that the HSPD method provided precise piling results without the need for cutting the remaining piles. The results showed that the average productivity in the field was 42.27 m/hour, while the theoretical productivity was 38,2 m/hour, with a positive deviation of 4,1 m/hour.
