Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and company size on company value in basic material companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023. The approach used in this study is quantitative. The secondary data sources used are the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) accessed at www.idx.co.id and the official websites of each company. The secondary data sources come from two main sources, namely: annual reports and sustainability reports. This study uses the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 30 (SPSS) software for data processing. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative methods expressed in numerical form. The analysis consisted of descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors do not contribute to company value, while company size does contribute to company value.
