Abstract

The water supply activity at XYZ Dock has a high hazard work area. This research aims to identify hazard risks and provide proposals for controlling Occupational Safety and Health (K3) hazards at the XYZ Pier. The methods applied in this research are Job Safety Analysis Hazard Identification (JSA) and Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC). Based on the results obtained from identifying risks in each water supply activity, the data obtained in the hose installation activity has 4 moderate value risks and 2 low value risks. In the activity of distributing clean water which has 1 risk worth high, 2 risks worth moderate and 1 risk worth low. In the hose release activity, there is 1 risk of moderate value and 3 risks of low value. After risk control, in the hose installation activity there is 1 risk of moderate value and 5 risks of low value. In the clean water distribution activity, there is 1 risk of moderate value and 3 risks of low value. In the hose removal activity, there is 1 risk of moderate value and 3 risks of low value. Thus, this research is able to reduce the risk of potential hazards in clean water supply activities at the XYZ Pier.
