Abstract

The Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB) is an important part of the Independent Campus Learning Internship (MBKM) initiative which aims to provide opportunities for students to develop themselves through activities outside the classroom, while still being recognized as part of the course. In its implementation, this program cooperates with PT. Menara Indonesia (M-Knows Consulting) as one of the partners involved. One of the programs offered at MSIB is Back-End Developer. Students who take part in this program are expected to have full responsibility in participating in all the internship activities provided. These activities include independent learning, weekly consultation sessions with mentors, and the creation of a Kampus Gratis project that lasts for about 5 months. One of the significant components in MSIB is the Kampus Gratis Project. In this stage, students will form teams and work together to complete the Kampus Gratis project. This project is designed to solve real problems in everyday life using the engineering design process. In addition, this experience can also be a valuable provision in preparation for the world of work in the future. The MSIB program is specifically designed to help students hone the soft skills and hard skills needed in the role of a Back-End Developer. The ultimate goal of this program is for students to be able to make a real contribution in the world of work. Thus, MSIB provides opportunities for students to develop themselves, gain team experience, and improve skills that are relevant to the desired field of work in the future.
