Abstract
With the increasing globalization, economic conditions will continue to experience development and progress. One of the impacts of globalization is that human needs are increasing and increasingly diverse. In the current era, shopping centers are starting to creep up and increasing both using online and offline ways and can’t be denied at this time onlineshop becomes a current trend that is in high demand by all circles. The development of these times and technologies causes people to make purchases not based on the priority scale of needs but rather the priority scale of desire or will. This will negatively affect a person's financial ability. Increasing consumption patterns lead to increasing financial conditions decreased. Shopping habits using the priority scale of desire not the need to cause people to live extravagantly so that it will affects unstable financial conditions. With the rise of online applications that make it easier to shop online, this can make people more consumptive. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and self-control on consumptive behavior of online shopping. The population in this study is students at State Universities in Surabaya. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling techniques. The technique of determining the number of samples using the formula slovin. The sample used in the study was as many as 100 people or respondents. The data used in this study is primary data which is data from the results of questionnaires from the answers of 100 respondents. The analysis technique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS). The results stated that financial literacy and lifestyle have a significant positive influence on the consumptive behavior of online shopping, while selfcontrol has an insignificant positive influence on the consumptive behavior of online shopping.
