Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of the Gini Ratio, Social Assistance Expenditure, Inflation Rate, and Economic Growth on the Poverty Depth in the Ciayumajakuning region during the period of 2014-2023. Using a quantitative approach with panel data and multiple linear regression analysis, the study finds that the Gini Ratio and Inflation Rate have no significant effect on poverty, while Social Assistance Expenditure negatively and significantly impacts poverty depth, and Economic Growth has a positive and significant effect on poverty depth. The regression model explains 63.21% of the variation in poverty depth. The policy implications suggest the need for more effective income redistribution policies, inclusive economic growth that generates employment, and inflation management to protect the purchasing power of the population. The study is limited to the variables used and does not include other factors potentially influencing poverty, such as access to education and healthcare.
